Diamondhead couple donates $2,000 to DSPCA

Two adopted pups, Raisin Lu, 15, and Daisy Mae, 5, donate to their four-legged friends annually. Their parents, John Hall and Linda Williams hosted birthday parties in their honor and in lieu of presents, donations were collected for the Diamondhead SPCA. As Raisin Lu aged, the parties ceased, but the donations continue.

Anyone interested in helping Diamondhead SPCA  may call Frances Pike at 228-255-1297.

Humane society may be a little quieter this week

Humane society may be a little quieter this week

The Humane Society of South Mississippi may be a little quieter this week, at least until they get more animals.

The HSSM was just short 74 pets from its original goal of 300. But that number didn't matter. The HSSM managed to get 226 pets adopted during their adopt-a-thon on Saturday.
