The second suspect accused of check forgery was arrested Wednesday, according to Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara.
Hancock County Sheriff's deputies executed an arrest warrant for Daniel G. Adams Jr., 34, of the Kiln. Adams faces a felony charge of uttering forgery after he and another suspect allegedly stole checks from a Pass Christian man's vehicle.
Brisolara said investigators believe the two were captured on surveillance video using the checks at businesses in Long Beach and Pass Christian.
The second suspect, Kristina M. Davis of Waveland was arrested Tuesday, a day after authorities asked the media to post photos of the two suspects on air and online. Brisolara said, Gulfport police recognized her after her photos were displayed. Davis also faces a charge of uttering forgery.
Both were taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
Adam's bond was set at $100,000 by Judge Dianne Ladner pending a hearing. Davis' bond was set at $20,000 by Judge Brandon Ladner pending a hearing.
